Her research activity concerns experimental and numerical methods for the evaluation and optimization of comfort and energy efficiency, with particular focus on acoustic comfort in the built environment, through an innovative approach to support decision making processes in retrofitting operations. This work is developed within the framework of the EU H2020 Project “New integrated methodology and Tools for Retrofit design towards a next generation of Energy efficient and sustainable buildings and Districts” (NewTREND), where Università Politecnica delle Marche is partner.
Livia Claudi received the Laurea degree in Building Engineering at Università Politecnica delle Marche, in February 2015. Her thesis entitled “Metodologie di calcolo previsionale e di misura del rumore trasmesso nei giunti in edilizia” has been developed at the DIISM (Department of Industrial Engineering and Mathematical Sciences) of the Univerisità Politecnica delle Marche.
Since 2015, she is a PhD student at the DIISM of the Università Politecnica delle Marche.
