Livia Claudi

Position

PostDoctoral Researcher – ING-IND/12

Tutor

Prof. Tutor: Gian Marco Revel

Research Areas

Her research activity concerns the development of experimental and numerical methods for the evaluation and optimization of comfort and energy efficiency, with particular focus on acoustic comfort in the built environment, through an innovative approach to support decision making processes in retrofitting operations. This work has developed within the framework of the EU H2020 Project “NewTREND”. Now, she is working on a new EU H2020 Project, “BIM-SPEED”, with the task to developing a combination of methodologies and tools to be integrated within the Building Information Model (BIM).

Capsule Bio

She received the master’s degree in construction engineering at Università Politecnica delle Marche in February 2015 with a thesis entitled “Metodologie di calcolo previsionale e di misura del rumore trasmesso nei giunti in edilizia”. She was PhD student at Department of Industrial Engineering and Mathematical Sciences from November 2015 to October 2018 and she has developed a soft-sensing approach for measuring acoustic comfort in buildings. Now, she is a Postdoctoral Researcher at DIISM.
