The research focuses on the study of the existence and properties of wavefront-type solutions for reaction-diffusion equations, even in the presence of convection terms or with diffusivity coefficients that can change sign, thus also modeling aggregation processes. Furthermore, reaction-diffusion equations with discontinuous coefficients or those governed by nonlinear operators such as the p-Laplacian are also considered.
