Variational and dynamics methods for ordinary and partial differential equations


Variational and dynamical systems techniques are used to study existence and multiplicity problems of different kinds of entire solutions for semilinear elliptic equations or systems of semilinear elliptic equations related to Mathematical Physics as Ginzburg-Landau, Allen-Cahn, Sine-Gordon and stationary Schrödinger equations. Moreover, existence of homoclinic, heteroclinic and periodic solutions for lagrangian systems, like the pendulum equations or the Duffing equation, are studied. Lastly we study the stability of such solutions in the contest of parabolic systems.
