The group’s research focuses on mathematics education and the dissemination of mathematics. In particular, research in mathematics education is oriented toward the integration of technologies into teaching and learning processes at both school and university levels, with attention to issues related to the transition from school to university.
A further area of interest concerns the study of the interconnections between mathematics and artistic disciplines—such as music, theatre, and graphic arts—also with a view to designing activities and tools for communicating mathematics to a broad audience.
