Research Areas

He deals with the study of new human-machine interfaces applied to the industrial manufacturing environment, in particular with the implementation of new and increasingly immersive interfaces realized through eXtended Reality (XR) technologies. He also deals with workplace ergonomics, in the same industrial context, and with new low cost Motion Capture technologies that help the ergonomic analyst in the performance of his work.

Capsule Bio

Thomas Agostinelli receives his master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in December 2020. In February 2021 he obtains a scholarship at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Mathematical Sciences (DIISM) of the Polytechnic University of Marche, funded by the company Costruzioni Meccaniche Torresi s.r.l. of Montelupone (MC), entitled “In-mould electronics for the development of new human-machine interfaces”. Since November 2021 he is a PhD student in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering curricula, at the same department, with tutor Professor Maura Mengoni.
