Research Areas

The research activities focus on Big Data Analytics and Data Mining methodologies applied to the manufacturing industry. The activity is mainly focused on the application of these methodologies in the field of predictive and condition-based maintenance, with a view to anticipating the occurrence of failures to ensure high levels of productivity.

Capsule Bio

Sara Antomarioni is a Management Engineer, graduated with honors from the Polytechnic University of Marche in July 2016. After graduating, she collaborated with the Department of Industrial Engineering and Mathematical Sciences as a research fellow, focusing her work on Lean Management and corporate culture in Lean environments. In November 2017, she was admitted to the PhD school of the Polytechnic University of Marche; during the second year of her PhD, she spent four months as a visting PhD student at the University of Seville.
