Rachele Napolitano

Position

PostDoctoral Researcher – ING-IND/12

Tutor

Prof. Gian Marco Revel

Research Areas

Her research activity is based on the analysis and the evaluation of complex structures, biological, mechanical or civil. In particular, it concerns the development of scanning optical methods for the 3D reconstruction, as photogrammetry and laser scanning techniques.

Rachele Napolitano is a Research Fellow in the DIISM. She received the Bachelor degree in Biomedical Engineering in July 2012 and the Master degree in Electronical Engineering in October 2015, from Università Politecnica delle Marche. In 2019, she also received her Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a thesis entitled “Underwater Non-Contact Measurements for Corals Colour and Shape Assessment”, developed at Università Politecnica delle Marche in collaboration with the Zoological Institute “Anton Dorhn” (Naples).
