Research Areas

The PhD topic focuses on the development of methods and tools for the Human-Centered Design and the safe Human-Robot Collaboration. The main research activities concentrate on collaborative robotics and the related themes of safety and physical and cognitive ergonomics for the operator.

Capsule Bio

Marianna Ciccarelli graduated in Mechanical Engineering at “Università Politecnica delle Marche” on October 2019 with 110/110 cum laude. After graduation, she obtained the professional qualification and from December 2019 she collaborated with the Department of Industrial Engineering and Mathematical Sciences (DIISM) as a research fellow, focusing her activity on Human-Centered Manufacturing. In November 2020 she was admitted to the PhD course in Industrial Engineering at the DIISM of “Università Politecnica delle Marche”.
