PhD Student – ING-IND/06 (XXXVII year, 2021 – 2024)
Prof. Andrea Crivellini
His PhD activity regards computational fluid dynamics, that is the simulation by means of computers of problems concerning fluids in motion. He is currently involved in the analysis of the fluid-structure interaction in transcatheter aortic valves, aimed to determine their degree of wear and establish their operational life.
Luca Alberti was born in Ascoli Piceno (Italy) in 1993. In 2020 he obtained the Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Bologna, with a thesis entitled “Statistical Breakdown of Numerically Simulated Shear-Free Flows”. From 2020 to 2021 he worked at the HP Composites company, operating in the composite materials sector. In November of 2021 he was admitted to the PhD Course of Industrial Engineering at DIISM of Marche Polytechnic University.
