DescriptionThe Machine Design Group has the necessary equipment to study the mechanical behaviour of thermoplastic polymeric materials. The laboratory has recently been expanded with the introduction of an injection moulding machine equipped with a mould to manufacture standard specimens for mechanical tests. The Laboratory also has Moldex3D software to analyse the molding process.
