Research areas

1)    Study and implementation of methodologies and algorithms for the management of distributed storage systems oriented to the flexibility of the loads by the Aggregators.
2)    Study and implementation of multi-objective meta-heuristic algorithms for the optimal planning of multi-energy districts.

Gabriele Foresi was born in Osimo (AN) on 10/22/1992. In July 2011 he obtained his scientific high school diploma with a final mark of 100/100 at the Galileo Galilei Scientific High School in Ancona. In July 2014 he graduated in “Computer and Automation Engineering” at the “Polytechnic University of Marche” with a final mark of 110/110 cum laude and a thesis entitled “Development of a system for monitoring and analysis of consumption energy of small and medium-sized houses ”. In October 2016 he obtained his master’s degree in “Computer and Automation Engineering” at the “Polytechnic University of Marche” with a final mark of 110/110 cum laude and a thesis entitled “Indoor localization by means of PDR (Pedestrian Dead-Reckoning) and analysis of the received signal strength”. In March 2020 he obtained his Ph.D. in “Information Engineering curriculum Computer Engineering, Management and Automation” at the “Polytechnic University of Marche” with the dissertation “Computational Intelligence Techniques for Energy Management in industrial and residential systems”. From 1/11/2019 he is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Industrial Engineering and Mathematical Sciences department of the “Polytechnic University of Marche”.
