Research Areas

Research interests include ICT for Energy Efficiency, innovative sensors, simulation modelling. Developer of algorithms for optimal position of sensors, reduction of number of sensors in buildings.

Capsule Bio

Federico Seri graduated in Thermo-Mechanical Engineering in 2011, with a thesis entitled “Development of a method based on genetic algorithms to predict and control air temperature and humidity on large spaces”, developed at DIISM ( Department of Industrial Engineering and Mathematical Sciences) of the Università Politecnica delle Marche.
In 2012, he begun his PhD studies at DIISM, Università Politecnica delle Marche, and his research activity has been involved with the European project SportE2 (Energy Efficiency for Sport Facilities).
