Federico Campi

Position

Research fellow – ING-IND/15

Tutor

Prof. Michele Germani

Research Areas

His research activity takes place in cooperation with Nuovo Pignone Tecnologie S.r.l., a company leader in manufacturing of turbomachinery for static applications. The goal is the identification of a method, that adapts to business needs and with which companies could be evaluate the manufacturing costs in the preliminary design phases.
His research activity is mainly focused on:

  • Design for Manufacturing, Design to Cost, Life Cycle Costing.
  • Study of analytical and / or parametric cost models for turbomachinery components.
