ENERGY MANAGEMENT AND ENERGY PLANNING AT REGIONAL AND LOCAL LEVEL

Description

The research activity in the field of planning and management of energy at regional and territorial level was carried out together with the scientific assistance to the Local Authorities (Region, provinces and Municipalities) of the Marche Region in the preparation of their own Energy Plans- environmental.
The performed studies aimed to highlight the influence of local authority policies in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and increasing energy efficiency. In particular, the effects, from a technical, economic and environmental point of view, of some specific interventions based on data relating to some municipalities in the Marche Region were compared.
This research area includes the analysis of cogeneration systems powered by renewable sources aimed at evaluating their integration with buildings in order to maximize the use of the energy produced.

Laboratoy

The activities are carried out in the Refrigeration Laboratory.
