The Department coordinates the Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree programs in Mechanical Engineering, as well as the inter-university programs (in collaboration with the University of Urbino), including the Bachelor’s in Sustainable Industrial Engineering and the Master’s in Green Industrial Engineering. Furthermore, the Department participates in the coordination of the Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree programs in Management Engineering.
The course of study is divided into a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree.
During the three-year Bachelor’s program, students acquire fundamental knowledge in mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science, technical drawing, machine design, and mechanical plants. The curriculum can be customized with elective courses, allowing students to refine their preparation according to their own aptitudes and interests.
The Master’s Degree provides in-depth knowledge in specific disciplines through a choice of 4 different curricula: Mechanical Design, Mechatronics, Production Systems and Innovative Technologies, and Energy.

Master’s Degree
The course of study is divided into a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree.
The Bachelor’s program aims to train engineers with a strong vocation for innovation, multidisciplinarity, and technology, providing cross-disciplinary skills in industrial engineering, information technology, and economic-management fields. Elective courses allow students to personalize their study plan, enabling them to tailor their preparation to their personal interests and goals.
The Master’s program prepares high-profile professionals with advanced knowledge in core subjects, the main technological-application areas of engineering, and, specifically, Management Engineering. Students can choose from three different curricula: Sustainable Production and Logistics, Digitalization and Business Information Analysis, and Sustainable Innovation of Products and Processes.

Master’s Degree
The course of study is divided into a Bachelor’s Degree (Sustainable Industrial Engineering) and a Master’s Degree (Green Industrial Engineering).
The Bachelor’s program aims to provide students with a foundational preparation in industrial engineering disciplines, with a specific focus on environmental and energy sustainability applied to production systems. During the three-year program, students acquire knowledge in mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science, industrial plants, energy systems, and the fundamentals of sustainability technologies. The study program can be customized through elective courses, allowing students to orient their education based on their interests.
The Master’s program (taught in English) provides in-depth knowledge in the main areas of industrial engineering with a specific focus on the sustainable design and management of products, processes, and industrial systems. The course explores topics related to energy and resource efficiency, environmental impact assessment, circular economy, and technologies for the ecological transition, training professionals capable of operating in complex industrial contexts oriented toward sustainable development.
