Research Areas

Involved in the development of innovative solutions for real-time monitoring and control of comfort in indoor environment based on dynamic measurements of personal parameters. Research interests include thermal comfort, sensors, signal processing and software development. 

Capsule Bio

Andrea Calvaresi is a Post-Doctoral researcher within the Mechanical and Thermal Measurement Group at DIISM. He graduated in Biomedical Engineering from Università Politecnica delle Marche in 2014 with a thesis entitled “Sviluppo e validazione di un sistema per il monitoraggio del tasso metabolico e del comfort basato su sensori indossabili ed ambientali”. He received his Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering with curriculum in Mechanical Engineering from Università Politecnica delle Marche in 2018 with a thesis entitled “Development of an innovative method for real-time monitoring and control of comfort in indoor environment based on dynamic measurements of personal parameters”
