Research Areas

Her Ph.D research activity is inserted within the Athenaeum Strategic Project “StarLab: Simulation Training and Advanced-Research Lab”, which aims to study and develop innovative solutions, i.e. a mixed-reality simulation lab, able to improve the clinical educational path. Her research activity is mainly focused on: 

  • Study and development of AR/MR systems applied in medical simulation training 
  • Study of physical and cognitive ergonomics involved in medical simulation training
Capsule Bio

Agnese Brunzini was born in Jesi (AN), Italy, in December 1989. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2012, from Università Politecnica delle Marche and her master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2015, from Polytechnic of Turin (Italy). She worked as research fellow from January 2016 to October 2017 and in November 2017 she started the Ph.D. course in Industrial Engineering at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Mathematical Sciences (DIISM) at the Università Politecnica delle Marche. Her research interests include CAD design, Reverse Engineering, Ergonomics and Augmented Reality.
