The Fluid Dynamics group has been working at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Mathematical Sciences of the Polytechnic University of Marche since 2008. The group is currently composed of an associate professor.
The group deals with teaching and research. The didactic activity concerns the courses of Fluid Dynamics and Computational Fluid Dynamics in the three-year and master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering. The main research activity concerns the development and implementation of innovative technologies and numerical methodologies for the study of fluid dynamics problems. The group also deals with simulations of complex fluid dynamic problems of industrial interest using internally developed codes, commercial codes as well as open-source codes.
