Capsule Bio

Alessio Vita is a research fellow at the Polytechnic University of Marche since 2018. He received a PhD in industrial engineering with a thesis on the optimization of the RTM process for the production of components in thermosetting composite and carbon fiber. He spent a large part of his doctorate in a leading company in the production of composite parts, thus learning the potential of these materials and the problems associated with their manufacturing. This, linked to the passion for innovative production methods and rapid prototyping, led him to found SHPERECUBE, a spin-off and innovative startup on the production of 3D printing systems for composite materials.
He has numerous scientific publications mainly concerning on production processes for composite materials and is member of several international journals. The writing of international (Life 2019, NMBP 05), national (PON) and regional (POR FESR, POR FSE) projects are also part of his work background.
