DESIGN OF LOGISTIC SOLUTIONS FOR INDUSTRIAL AND SERVICE SYSTEMS

Description

This research activity deals with aspects related to the planning, design, management and optimization of industrial logistics systems and their components. The main research items that can be traced back to this strand are: development of solutions based on lean production; design and integrated management of the logistic production chain (supply chain management); demand forecasting and stock management; product packaging and materials handling; product storage; design and management of distribution networks; external transport systems; Reverse Logistics; information systems for logistics; organisation and control of logistic systems; systems for the traceability of materials in logistic-production chains; management of after-sales service.
