Paolo Marchionni PostDoctoral Researcher
Research Areas His research activity concerns mechanical measurements and biomedical instrumentation, in particular he is interested in processing and validation of physiological data, methods for measurement of temperature distribution on preterm infants, non contact measurements of cardiopulmonar parameters. Capsule Bio Paolo Marchionni graduated in Electronic Engineering (cum laude) at the Università Politecnica delle Marche in 2007, with a thesis entitled “Risk Management dei dispositivi biomedicali: analisi in un reparto di terapia intensiva neonatale”. From 2008 to 2011 he attended the PhD course at the DIISM (dipartimento di ingegneria industriale e scienze matematiche) of the Università Politecnica delle Marche and he developed a thesis entitled “Non-contact techniques for the measurement of physiological parameters in Neonatal Intensive Care Units”. Since 2011 he’s been a PostDoctoral researcher at the DIISM of the Università Politecnica delle Marche.
